Perhaps you’ve recently launched your online store and are looking for strategies to boost sales. Are you thinking about using Facebook ads? After all, for beginners or even seasoned marketers, Facebook advertising is arguably the most effective way to sell your items to over 2.6 billion people across the world. With Facebook advertisements, you’ll be able to target specific consumers in any niche, therefore this Facebook advertising tutorial will be really useful. It may appear complicated if you’re just starting. But don’t be concerned. You’ll learn everything from pixels and conversion tracking to a variety of campaign objectives in this guide. For novices, we’ll go over the principles of Facebook advertising. That way, you won’t waste time or money launching your first effective Facebook ad campaign. Let’s get this party started! Why Facebook advertising? With over 2.60 billion monthly active users, you can be sure that some of your potential clients are on Facebook. The only challenge is how to properly communicate with them. Facebook advertising provides eCommerce businesses with a wide range of targeting choices. Notably, you may find people not just by their geographic location (countries, states, cities, and even zip codes), gender, and age, but also by their interests, activities, life events, and a variety of other factors. Furthermore, you may use Facebook advertising tools to promote almost any type of content relevant to your business, ranging from text posts, images, and albums to videos, events, offers, and, of course, connections to your website. When you consider Facebook’s massive user base, excellent targeting capabilities, and diverse ad objectives, it’s easy to see why it’s such a tremendous tool for eCommerce marketing. Below is a breakdown of how Facebook advertising works. How do Facebook ads work? Facebook’s goal is to figure out how to best allocate the limited advertising space it has. They complete this by executing hundreds of micro auctions every second, in which marketers compete for ad space. If you win the auction, your credit card will be debited, and your ad will be shown to the audience you specified. What is the cost of Facebook advertising? Well, the cost is debatable and it depends on various things. After the result of this auction, your ad price may vary. These factors include your ad’s target country, audience, placement, and quality. In the United States, there is far more competition, so you’ll have to pay more to reach the same number of people than you would in a cheaper country like Thailand. Even within the United States, some audiences can cost twice as much or even three times as much to reach. The only way to find out is to put it to the test in your firm and see what happens. In truth, Facebook advertising necessitates extensive testing. Experiment with what you believe will work and tweak your campaigns to make them more effective. Remember that there is no such thing as squandering money on Facebook because whatever you learn through trial and error will benefit you in the long run. Let’s look at how to design a campaign now that you understand how Facebook advertising works. Facebook advertising guide You’ll discover how to set up an account in this section of the Facebook advertising tutorial. You must first set up your ad account in Facebook Ads Manager if you have not yet launched any Facebook advertising campaigns. Account Preferences Select your ad account in Facebook Ads Manager. Then search for the settings on the top-left side. Fill up your ad account name and confirm whether you’re buying advertisements for business purposes once you’ve arrived. Fill in the remaining information, including your company name, address, country, EU VAT number (if applicable), and whether you’re an advertising agency. Add a new payment method next in the billing section. Select “Payment settings” from the left-hand menu and click “Add Payment Method” while still in “Settings.” Choose how you want to pay (credit card, PayPal, or a Facebook ad coupon) and fill out the form. Let’s move on to audience research if you’re comfortable with the account setup and billing. Audience research You’ll learn about audience settings in this section of the Facebook advertising guide. The most important aspect of Facebook advertising is finding the correct audience. You’ll squander some of your valuable Facebook budgets on reaching the incorrect people if you choose an audience that isn’t relevant enough to your ad. Before defining your target audience for your Facebook advertising campaign, there are seven crucial considerations to bear in mind. Although the answers to these questions are not always complicated, gathering and verifying them can be a time-consuming procedure. Remember that the correct audience is crucial to the effectiveness of your Facebook ads. 1) Who are the thought leaders, authoritative figures, and large brands in your niche? This stage is simple; you simply need to use Google to conduct some research on the industry’s important players. You can do so by typing the type of industry you’re interested in into the search box and browsing through the results one by one. You should strive to target as many industry names and players as possible. You might also do your study on Amazon for books or publications. If you are hiring a firm like Houston IT Developers, then ask your Facebook ad servicesproviders to follow this important step. 2) What are the books, magazines, and newspapers that your ideal customer enjoys reading? You can conduct your research for this topic utilizing Google search, just like you did for the prior answer. You may see what publications are popular among your target demographic by searching in the books area of Amazon. You won’t be able to target the names of the books in most cases, but you might be able to target the writers. 3) What kinds of events
How Facebook Ads Work For Small Businesses

You may drill down to any audience with Facebook’s ad targeting. Every consumer market imaginable is on Facebook, with over 2 billion monthly active users. The Social Network is simply too enormous to ignore, yet many small businesses are doing just that. If you’re ignoring sponsored Facebook ads because you’ve been burned in the past, you’re not alone; many advertisers have been burned. It is a prevalent issue among new advertisers because learning the fundamentals of Facebook advertising is rather simple. While simplicity is frequently advantageous, it is not in this situation. Facebook ads work well because The ease and simplicity of Facebook’s entry-level ad solutions have created a problem: almost any determined small business owner can jump on Facebook and figure out how to boost a post. However, employing the default “Boost Post” option is unlikely to result in big sales. As a result, many inexperienced Facebook advertisers feel as if they’ve spent $5 here and $10 there for… what? a couple more impressions and likes? Many small company owners have decided that Facebook is the last place they want to invest their limited marketing budget after spending $50 and getting nothing in return – but the issue is in the technique, not the platform. Boosting posts for likes, shares, and comments is fine, but if you want to make money from Facebook ads, you need to make an offer that’s either free or so low-cost that it’s practically a no-brainer for your target market. It is how your Facebook sales funnel might look: Facebook audience You may personalize your audience to include/exclude persons based on age, geography, relationship status, page affinities (e.g., the user “likes” other pages similar to yours), job title, household income, and so much more with Facebook’s Power Editor. If you haven’t used Power Editor before, it’s where major advertising happens. When you use the ‘Boost Post’ tool on your Facebook Page, you can only boost the number of people who ‘Like’ your page. You can do a lot more with Power Editor, such as creating custom audiences, advertising on Instagram, and testing different variations of the same ad. If you have no idea about how to manage your Facebook ads, then why don’t you go for Facebook ads management services? They will not only manage your ads but will help your business grow to its potential through Facebook. Free offer for your audience It might be a free eBook, course, trial subscription, or even a free physical product that you mail. Your Facebook ad’s purpose is to direct users to a landing page where you collect their email addresses in exchange for a free offer. Upsell Show your consumer a little upsell product once they accept the free offer. This modest upsell should ideally have a profit margin that covers the expense of your Facebook ads. Assuming a reasonable conversion rate, the result is costless lead generation. Retargeting It’s time to sell your lead the real product now that you’ve gained their trust. You can do this via email, phone, or any other ‘direct’ ways now available to you as part of the free offer, or you can retarget the person with advertising using a Facebook Pixel. When a Facebook user sees that page (which may be the finishing page for your free offer), they’re now “tracked,” allowing you to send them adverts tailored to their interests. You can ask your digital marketing services provider to retarget the audience from your data. Budget Facebook gives you ultimate control over your finances. You have the option of setting a daily budget or limiting the money throughout the campaign as advertising. You can also tell Facebook how much per click you’re willing to pay. It is an excellent alternative for companies that already know how much a lead is worth. Test Advertising on Facebook does not require a big budget, you can always get the result in a small portion of the marketing budget. You may enhance your accuracy and minimize your expenses per action by learning the ins and outs of generating audiences and A/B testing ads. Facebook gets a lot of money from inexperienced advertisers that use the ‘Boost Post’ feature without thinking. 10 Reasons Why You Should Use Google Ads

“Why to use Google AdWords?” and “Does Google AdWords Work?” are frequently searched questions. It indicates that many marketers and business owners are aware of Google Ads (previously known as AdWords), but are unsure if and how it may benefit them. Google Ads, Google’s hugely successful Pay Per Click management services advertising technology can work for practically any form of business. Using Google Ads (or any other PPC platform) takes time and money, but thousands of businesses have discovered that it is time and money well spent because Google Ads provides a measurable return on investment. As always, we propose a balanced mix of marketing channels, including organic search, email marketing, events, social media, and other lead sources (see our recent how to get my website rank in Google). Which marketing channels prove to be the most productive for your company will determine how you invest your marketing budget. But if you’ve never used Google Ads before and aren’t sure if it’s worth it, this article is for you. Here are ten reasons why you should use Google Ads. Google ads are scalable One of the most difficult things for any marketer is finding lead sources that scale, that is, don’t demand five times the effort to get five times the leads. Several firms spend millions of dollars on Google Ads advertising each year due to its scalability. There is no reason to arbitrarily cap spending on a Google Ads campaign that is converting at a profitable rate. This makes Google Ads a great option for companies that need a lot of leads but doesn’t have a lot of time or resources. Measurable Online marketing is both measurable & scalable, and Google Ads PPC is one of the most measurable online channels. Making precise SEO assessments is difficult since you can’t always discern what actions resulted in greater or poorer rankings. Then there’s the whole “not provided” story. Measuring social media can be equally challenging. Google Ads, on the other hand, is more open, providing a slew of PPC indicators that help you figure out what works and what doesn’t at a granular level. You can determine whether your campaigns are a good investment or a waste of time on Google quickly compared to other marketing channels. Houston IT Developers understand your business first and make appealing campaigns that work. Flexible Google Advertising gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of customizing your campaigns and ads to meet your specific objectives, such as hyper-targeting the audiences you want to reach. You can use Google Ads to: Specify keyword match types: You can only show your ad to those who search for a specific phrase, such as “vegas hotels,” removing traffic from general terms about Las Vegas or hotels. You can use ad extensions to show product photos, a phone number, a mega-pack of links to your site, your actual location, and even start a conversation or get an email address directly from the SERP. You can target your audience based on their location, time of day, language, browser or device type, and other factors. Access a massive network of non-search users via Gmail and YouTube, as well as a slew of partner sites. Utilize the display network, which is excellent for increasing brand recognition and frequently converts at a lesser cost than Google Search. Faster Because you don’t have to wait as long for results Google Ads becomes the perfect solution for new firms or budding enterprises. You may start earning impressions and clicks right away by investing resources in a Google Ads campaign while working on your site’s SEO. It’s also a great method to determine if a specific keyword or demographic is worth pursuing through organic search – if it converts well in Google Ads, you can infer it’s worth attempting to rank for in SEO and extending your content in that area. As an added plus, you can frequently get started on Google Ads for very little money, as Google frequently distributes vouchers (essentially free PPC budget) to new advertisers. You can always seek the best digital marketing services provider, so they can provide you with both SEO and PPC services that complement each other. Easier We at Houston IT Developers have a lot of experience with both SEO and PPC. And now that our PPC campaigns are up and running, we’ve discovered that they’re a lot easier to handle than our SEO efforts. Not only is it difficult for us to keep up with our massive beast of a website, but to grow organic traffic, it needs a team of 3-5 people continually churning out SEO content, optimizing it, and developing links. When it works, it’s exciting, innovative, and rewarding – but it’s also reassuring to know that we can rely on PPC to produce leads without having to go through all the hoops. Because there is less contradictory material out there, Google Ads is probably easier to master. As a marketer, it can be difficult to tell which sources are trustworthy and which are simply peddling snake oil if you aren’t in the industry. However, there isn’t an entire sector dedicated to “gaming” Google Ads. Taking over SERPs Google Advertisements is Google’s baby (it should be; it generates roughly 97 percent of the company’s revenue), and the SERP has evolved to offer ads more above-the-fold real estate than organic results. It is aggravating for both SEOs and users. However, if you use PPC, it’s not all awful! It’s an opportunity for you to get your message in front of a large number of people on the SERP in a highly clickable format — it’s a common misconception that no one clicks on Google advertising. Sponsored advertisements take up to 2 out of 3 clicks on the first page for queries with significant commercial intent. Engaging In the last few years, Google has introduced a slew of new ad forms, including product listing advertising and YouTube in-video ads. Google is incentivized to do so

Whatever the budget, you have to plan your digital marketing strategies for 2022 and make good use of the money to attract the target audience and get maximum sales. 1. Go for podcast marketing Did you know that 70% of the podcast listeners are glued to it as they are immersed in their household routine, at the gym, or commuting to work? About 50% of the podcast listeners in the U.S. are aged between 12 to 34 years. Regular podcast listeners have the power to make purchasing decisions or take an interest in them. So, why not aim to reach these “super listeners” with a weekly podcast and try to create a loyal fan base? As per research, ad spending in the podcast market is expected to reach $2.74 billion by 2025. Just like Netflix disrupted the streaming industry, podcasting is already making big moves with 800,000 active podcasts and over 54 million episodes available worldwide. What are the benefits of podcast marketing? A voice can engage your audience better than text. It helps to build trust and a personal connection. It’s easy to get started. It’s cheaper to video content. But we aren’t saying it is an alternative. Visual content sells the most even today. So, brands can provide both video and audio podcasting to their followers. Podcasting helps you to reach out to new audiences. It increases traffic and lead generation pretty quickly. It helps improve conversion as it builds an effective relationship with listeners. You can repurpose the podcasts into snippets and teasers and share them on social media platforms. From a creative standpoint, podcasts work for every subject and industry. So, digital marketing services can implement this strategy for 2022. 2. Give preference for first-party data It is obvious that customer data drives your marketing strategies. But growing consumer privacy concerns are driving businesses to enforce stricter regulations. The effect is that Google will scrap website cookies on Chrome in 2023 while Safari and Firefox have already implemented the ban. It effectively means that brands now have to capitalize on the available first-party data and plan strategies to connect with these customers. Ensure that you integrate Google Analytics or other third-party analytics software through web development services to capture the data and insights. The data that you have from completed on-site purchases, surveys, customer feedback, and your CRM is valuable because you own it. And secondly, it gives you the blueprint to create a customer persona. As per Google, a majority of leading marketers believe that first-party data is an important asset for brand growth. It gives you valuable insights into customer interests, behavior, and more. Tailor your digital marketing content based on this data because your future depends on it. 3. Shift your focus to personalization Customers always want to feel special. Two in three customers want brands to understand their needs and expectations. The same number expect brands to validate empathy. It is not always about acquiring new customers. It is about retaining existing customers and making them feel special. The focus of your digital marketing strategy has to be on the customer journey as much as on their destination. Here are ways to personalize content for your customers – Welcome returning customers back to the online store through unique messages. Personalize the messages based on customer preferences, interests, and actions. Use dynamic remarketing ads to target customers who are still undecided about a purchase Segment your email list and push notifications according to customer purchase history, location, demographics, purchase time, and other data points. Customize emails with product images that your customers have searched for in the past. These personalization strategies by digital marketing services will help you to retain customers and build brand loyalty. 4. Bite-sized video content for Gen Z It is not new that visual content sells. The past couple of years have seen a meteoric rise in videos. Adults now spend up to five hours consuming visual content. Also, it gives brands an opportunity to increase awareness by 140% through different video formats such as- Product videos Instructional videos Behind the scenes Unboxing videos Event videos Announcements & teaser videos Reviews & testimonials How to use videos Interviews & chat shows Educational content Short-form content dominates the social media landscape in the form of Stories, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Tik Tok, and many more. As per Statista, 55% of the traffic to websites comes from direct searches. 80% of the consumers research a product online. Half of them discover new brands selling those products. But only 10% of the searchers go beyond the second page of search results. With so many users finding their answers on the first page, your strategy as well as that of SEO services has to be focused on better ranking to attract more potential clients and earn revenue. 6. Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising for small businesses The keyword bidding war gets hotter with small businesses jumping into the fray for paid ads

10 PPC Trends to stay a step ahead of the competition

You want to get the most out of your PPC budget. If that is so, why are you still doing what others are doing? With advancements in PPC marketing, why not use the latest trends and technologies to stay a step ahead? Pay Per Click Management Services have seen a drastic change in 2022, especially as Google and Facebook have updated their advertising platforms to cater to new technologies. Here are 10 PPC trends you have to embrace to stay a step ahead of your peers. PPC Automation Google has automated many aspects of the PPC algorithms using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). With the help of automation, many labor-intensive tasks like ad testing, identifying the best ad, and the best call to action can be automated. Besides this, automation has helped in identifying performance issues within an account and helping in generating ad reports automatically. Smart Bidding Bidding for ads is now automated with the help of machine learning. So now we have Enhanced Cost per Click (CPC), Target Cost per Acquisition (CPA), and Target Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS). Bidding for ad placements would become more automated and ‘smart’ as technology evolves in 2022 and beyond. Manual bidding will eventually become a thing of the past! Amazon’s foray into paid advertising For many novices, there is always the dilemma about choosing between Facebook and Google ads. Now, Amazon has entered the fray. Amazon has one virtue that both Google and Facebook do not have- buyer intent. People visit Amazon to buy something, which makes the ad even more lucrative. On the other hand, Google and Facebook display ads are based on the customers’ browsing behavior, likes, location, and other demographics. In 2022, Digital Marketing Services would add Amazon’s paid marketing service alongside Google ads and Facebook ads. Social Media advertising trends With many people checking their social media feed daily, advertising on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn makes for a worthy investment. Though Facebook and Google still dominate the PPC advertising market, advertising on other platforms too is not far behind. Audience Targeting The biggest benefit of PPC advertising is audience targeting. Though this is an established feature, both Google and Facebook have enhanced the audience targeting for their ads. With these latest improvements, you can use demographic targeting and keyword targeting to create and publish extremely relevant ads. Bumper video ads In 2022, video content would dominate the market. Videos are a great way to increase business reach, increase aesthetic appeal and deliver your messages at a relatively low cost. YouTube has recently introduced ‘bumper ads’ which are shorter, 90-second ads that play at various places based on machine learning algorithms. Many marketers are even using virtual reality to provide ‘real’ experiences in video ads. Voice search Voice search assistants like Google Home, Alexa Dot, and Siri have revolutionized the way we look up things. These assistants now have a more than 50% share of all online searches. This has led to the development of paid voice search advertising. Though it isn’t that popular now, it has a lot of potential for advertisers to prepare content that’ll use voice search well. Visual Search Similar to voice search, it is now possible to search for something online by clicking a photo of the object or searching for any image on the internet. With visual search, people can get results for their queries faster than typing a description of the image. For instance, you can click a photo of a blue vase and look it up online rather than typing ‘monocolored plain blue vase’ in the search bar. While visual search is relatively new, digital marketers are getting ready to embrace this new technology. To start with, each image posted on the website now comes with metadata for easier crawling. Visual search is now being used not only by Google but also by social media platforms like Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and others. Remarketing In its simplest form, remarketing is when you track and display ads to those who have seen them. These can be people who might have interacted with the ad wherever they have seen it. Remarketing is a great way to target those who have shown interest but are delaying their purchasing decisions. Though Remarketing has been around for quite some time, technological advances mean they will be even more effective in 2022. Collaborative filtering To make it easier for marketers to target the right audience, search engines and social media platforms segregate users based on their tastes and preferences. If Tom and Marley are interested in the same hobbies, Google would club them together for marketers to target. This is done based on age, interests, hobbies, locations, and much more. Google even knows when you are traveling, based on the IP address of your device. For instance, if you are going to France from the US, Google will send you to Google.co.fr when you reach France. This helps you tailor your content to specific audiences. Google and Facebook are using advanced versions of collaborative filtering to target the right audience. In the end Pay Per Click marketing is a dynamic, ever-changing marketing medium that allows marketers to target the right audience at the right time and right place. Digital marketing trends are continuously evolving, making use of advanced technologies to create adverts that help convert. It doesn’t matter whether you search for PPC Services in USA or PPC Services in Canada, you will get paid (and organic) results that are most relevant to your requirements.
10 reasons why PPC advertisements could be ideal for you in 2022

Here, you pay only for the results- you are charged only when someone views or clicks on your ad. In a way, PPC Advertising is a great way to purchase web traffic and generate leads. PPC advertising requires research, conceptualization, and implementation; it cannot be done in a silo. That’s why many businesses prefer to hire Pay Per Click Management Services. There is a common misconception that PPC advertising requires a large budget. If you know what you want, do your research well and come up with a unique ad campaign, you can reach your advertisement goals even with a limited PPC advertisement budget. For those who are yet not convinced, here are some advantages that PPC advertising brings to the table. 1. Immediate results : A PPC ad campaign with Facebook ads or Google ads can help you get instant results. This is ideal for those businesses who would want to scale up quickly. On the other hand, organic traffic to your website can take months to grow, whereas print ads give you no guarantee of getting the desired results. 2. Gets you website traffic : A PPC ad campaign helps you boost your site’s traffic and gives you better chances of getting genuine business leads. PPC ads give you a chance to be at the top of the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) easily, though PPC ads do not add to your website’s SERP rankings. 3. Google’s search algorithm changes do not matter : To generate organic traffic to your website, you have to align your SEO strategy that suits Google’s ever-changing search algorithms. Getting the desired results can take a lot of time, effort, and money. On the other hand, your resource investments in PPC advertisements can get you on top of the SERPs without worrying about the search algorithm changes. 4.Opportunity for a high return on investment : Many businesses use PPC advertisements for lead generation. For instance, if you are a financial planner based in Houston, you can use PPC ads to get genuine leads from highly-relevant keywords like financial planners in Houston, investment planners in Houston, etc. Though the cost of getting each lead is fixed, this may be a worthy investment considering the high returns you can get from it. 5. Better brand recognition : Studies have shown how consistency in your ad campaign can help you increase revenue by as much as 33 percent. We aren’t talking about social media presence- When you are consistent with your ads, fence-sitters and those who would want to buy from you later could give your brand a preference. 6. Target the right customers : The best part of PPC ads is you can spend only on those customers that matter to you. For instance, if you are a legal consultant in Los Angeles, you could align your PPC campaign with demographic data that targets your niche. 7. Generate local leads Similar to the point above, Facebook ads and Google ads allow you to generate leads only in a specific area. For instance, if anyone is looking out for Best Digital Marketing Services, you could use geo-targeting to show your ads only in that particular area. 8. Improves your website’s SEO : Both SEO and PPC require keyword research and creative content creation. You can then reuse and redeploy this content for your social media marketing, website marketing, and much more. This consistency could help you get great leads. 9. Helps you stand out from the crowd : Studies show that out of every 100 people that view your PPC ad, businesses succeed in converting about 5 of these people. This does not mean that the rest cannot be converted. Google ads and Facebook ads have features that allow you to retarget and show the same ad to these 95 customers for a better chance of a conversion. 10. Retargeting opportunities : Studies show that out of every 100 people that view your PPC ad, businesses succeed in converting about 5 of these people. This does not mean that the rest cannot be converted. Google ads and Facebook ads have features that allow you to retarget and show the same ad to these 95 customers for a better chance of a conversion. In the end PPC ads act as a slingshot to help you get quality leads. However, this is only possible if your ad design and copy are worthwhile. That is why we recommend you consult PPC Services in USA who could help you create content and use a PPC marketing strategy that works.

9 Steps to create an effective SEO strategy

What use is a website if no one’s visiting it? If you want it to meet your business goals, you have to continuously strive to get people to visit your website to start with. Here is where Search Engine Optimization (SEO) will help you meet your goals. SEO refers to the process and strategy implemented to ensure better ranking in the search engine result pages (SERPs). As most people use Google to search for anything by default, aligning your website to comply with Google’s search algorithms is extremely important. But there are hundreds if not thousands of websites similar to yours in your niche, how do you outrank them in the SERPs? The answer- an effective SEO strategy that helps you gradually increase your search rankings organically. Let’s see how to do this- How to create an effective SEO strategy in 2022 Step #1: Make a list of keywords Keyword research is the first step in the any SEO strategy. The best way to find keywords is through Google Suggest- just type a search term related to your niche and you’ll get a list of all the related keywords popular in your niche. Alternatively, you could use the ‘Discover new keywords’ tool in a Google Ads account. The related keywords list would contain single-word phrases, 2-3 word phrases, and long-tail keywords. For instance, a single word phrase could be ‘t-shirts’ which is quite a generic keyword. A more specific keyword would be ‘yellow t-shirts’. As you are just starting, it is very difficult to get a better ranking on generic keywords. Instead, you could first target low-volume and low competition long-tail keywords like ‘Blue casual t-shirt’. Step #2: Analyze your target keyword’s search pages Once you’re done with the keyword research, examine each keyword’s search page. Which websites rank on the first page? What kind of content do they have that ranks? How have they presented the content? What type of content is missing in the SERPs? Ask yourself these questions and hunt for answers. These answers would determine the next course of action. Step #3: Create website content that’s different or better Once you have understood what’s missing in the SERPs, create content that fills the gaps. For instance, if one of your keywords is ‘How to use a Swiss knife?’ and most of the results are ‘X ways to use a Swiss army knife’ or ‘Tips & Tricks to use a Swiss army knife’, you could create an article on ‘ Unknown ways you could use your Swiss Knife’ or ‘How NOT to use your Swiss knife’. Step #4: Get Backlinks When creating content, ask yourself- what interests the customer in the content? What more would they like to know besides what is presented to them? Let’s take the above example. When you are writing about ‘Unknown ways you could use your Swiss knife’, you could include content that would further interest them. History, tidbits, or facts and figures are what we’re talking about. You could also write another article on this topic and link it to the article. For instance, you could write on ‘History of the Swiss army knife’ and link it to your ‘Unknown ways you could use your Swiss knife’ content. When people understand and appreciate the content, they will share the content on social media or their own blogs, increasing traffic to your website. Step #5: Optimize for on-page SEO Though this is a one-time effort, you have to take care when you optimize for on-page SEO. Firstly, examine each page- link those pages with high traffic to new pages or pages with lesser traffic. Secondly, ensure your URLs are short and sweet, as short URLs always outperform longer ones. Besides this, use what is called Semantic SEO service, where you can add long-tail keywords that are related to the target keyword. You may remember the ‘Searches related to’ options you get just before the end of the SERP which has the number of results. You also need to make sure your website is easy to use, intuitive, fast, and has an interface that looks interesting. Step #6: Optimize for Search Intent We usually write content to increase search traffic. Though this is valid, you should also consider search intent. For instance, you could write a post on ‘How to use a kitchen knife, but a better search intent and interesting title would be ‘X ways you didn’t know you could use your kitchen knife’. This is what interests people, rather than generic titles containing how, what, or where. You could also start with numbers to garner more interest. Step #7: Focus on unique content development There is so much content out there. You could visit any website and get content that matches your search intent. But hold on to that thought. As mentioned in Step #6, you need to create unique content. When someone skims through the SERP, they are most likely to ignore titles like ‘How to use a software, ‘ instead, they’ll click on ’10 things you didn’t know you could do with X software’. This is even if this title is ranked a little lower down the list. Step #8: Build Backlinks Similar to Step #4, here, you have to take initiative and build backlinks. This is perhaps the most challenging part of SEO. Building backlinks takes time-sometimes months. The more quality backlinks you have, the better chance you have at ranking at #1 on the SERPs. Due to the difficulty of this process, many website owners hire SEO services to get this done. For any website, ranking to the first page could take a minimum of 3-6 months for any web page. Step #9: Keep updating and creating new content Content creation is not a do it once and forget it job. Just because your website traffic is increasing does not mean you do not create or update content. You never know when your competitor could surpass you in the SERPs, while your traffic decreases day by
How Facebook Ads Are Changing In 2022

Facebook advertising is a boon for digital marketing professionals and advertisers as it boasts of one of the largest and most diverse audiences on the internet. For an advertiser, tapping into even a fraction of that audience means a massive profit in the business. Facebook has been a popular social media platform for small businesses to advertise their products and services across the globe. Facebook Ads also enable non-profit organizations to connect to people for social causes and fundraisers. But of late, Facebook Ads have been the center of controversy and criticism of abuse and misuse of its data. Agreed, Facebook Ads offer a high degree of targeting precision that allows advertisers to create highly personalized experiences and relevant and valuable user interactions. But the flip side is the rising sensitivity when people are identified and targeted based on their health conditions, demographic characteristics, or affiliation to social causes. Taking feedback from civil rights experts, policymakers, and other stakeholders, Meta has now made changes to its Facebook Ads policy so that it can stop advertisers from misusing its targeting options. How is Meta changing its Facebook Ads policy in 2022? From 19th January 2022, Meta will stop some detailed targeting options because they concern to subjects that may be perceived to be sensitive. It is removing targeting options referencing causes, organizations, or public figures that relate to: Race or ethnicity Political affiliation Religion Sexual orientation Health Some of the examples given by Meta that will be removed from detailed targeting options are: Health causes such as World Diabetes Day, Chemotherapy, or Lung Cancer Awareness Sexual orientation words such as same-sex-marriage and LGBT culture Religious practices and groups such as Catholic church and Jewish holidays It will also be removing targeting options that may be redundant with others or too granular and have not been widely used. How does this impact advertisers using the Marketing API? Meta recommends advertisers acquire the list of ad set IDs targeted at affected objects through the Deprecated targeting terms API. They then need to evaluate the ad sets targeting specifications to identify those ad sets that may be paused. Meta will continue to deliver the campaigns until 17th March 2022. Instead, fix on a username and use the same for all. 3. Social media profile picture Brands are usually associated with their logo.
